I reported right after boot camp in Novemeber 1970 ,ship was in the Bremerton yards at the time . We made the trip to Charleston in March of '71. I was attached to ''A'' gang and made En3 before transferring to the Holland after it rotated out of Rota back to Charleston ,72 to 74 , left Holland as an EN2 and joined the reserves . Love my time on both great ships !
